Energybox’s New Refurbishment Program
One of Energybox’s core business values is Sustainability. The topic of sustainability is increasingly becoming more and more of a relevant topic for business owners and operators across various industries. It is widely known that the planet’s resources are limited and quickly diminishing.
In order to make positive changes, the time to act is now and even small changes can make all the difference. Not only is it crucial for businesses to make sustainability efforts in order to make a positive impact on the environment, but consumer behavior is now being driven by these initiatives. Customers are bringing their business to companies that are actively showing that they are trying to reduce their carbon footprint.
Our current solutions offerings allow companies to understand their energy consumption and identify savings opportunities. Users can track, benchmark, and optimize their consumption based on data-driven insights available to them on the EnergyboxONE platform. We want to expand our sustainability offerings to help our customers reach their goals and corporate standards.
We are excited to share that we have launched a new refurbishment program to reduce e-waste! During the process of transitioning and upgrading our customers’ systems, the team has developed a way to recycle and repurpose our devices. All of these pieces are cleaned, tested, and are then updated to our most recent software. They are then repackaged to be used at a customer site to be given a second life. Less than 20% of e-waste is formally recycled, and 80% ends up in a landfill. We ensure that our recycled products are up to Energybox standards and are in pristine condition before sending them out for reuse.
